Next Monday, the devcom team will be hosting the charity stream “Play for Ukraine”. In addition to donations, the aim is to provide information about the situation of the games industry in Ukraine.

On Monday, December 2, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the devcom team will host a special charity stream on their Twitch channel. Under the banner ‘Play for Ukraine’, the event will feature indie games, engaging discussions, and, most importantly, a fundraising campaign to support vital humanitarian efforts.

Stephan Reichart, Irina Ivanova, Dana Alex, and other members of the devcom team will play indie games while speaking with industry experts about the Ukrainian games industry. One of the key contributors, Elena Lobova from Burney Games, will share her expertise on the current state and ongoing developments of the industry in Ukraine.

The stream aims to shed light on the challenges and resilience of Ukraine's gaming sector while raising funds for crucial aid initiatives. Donations will support three campaigns: Nothilfe Ukraine (Emergency Aid Ukraine), Winterhilfe Ukraine (Winter Aid Ukraine), and #TierBrückeUkraine, which focuses on helping animals in Ukraine.

Contributions can already be made through the ongoing Betterplace fundraising campaign. Every donation counts toward making a tangible difference in this critical time.
