Sony Interactive Entertainment Makes Düsseldorf's Rheinturm Playable
As part of the ongoing PlayStation campaign, selected city landmarks are being transformed under the motto 'Play Has No Limits'. In Düsseldorf, this will be the Rheinturm.
As darkness falls on 6 December, Sony Interactive Entertainment will transform Düsseldorf's Rhine Tower (Rheinturm) into a giant game, lighting up the evening sky as part of the 'Play Has No Limits' campaign. Visitors will be able to enter the world of Astro Bot and try their hand at a high score by triggering an animation on an interactive installation on top of the tower, as Astro Bot climbs up the tower - with a personal touch as visitors can enter their name on a tablet, which will show the name of the person on the tower together with the projection of Astro Bot. The lighting of the tower will begin at dusk on Friday 6 December and continue on Saturday 7 December.
Around the event, there will be opportunities to experience more PlayStation games on the nearby lawn of the State Parliament. Visitors will be able to play LEGO Horizon Adventures and Astro Bot on PlayStation 5. Sony Interactive Entertainment is celebrating the 30th anniversary of PlayStation this year.
