Gegen Mitte des Jahres bringt Nokia ein Handy auf den Markt, das richtig Spaß machen soll: "N-Gage" will Mobiltelefon und Videospielsystem sein! Das Handy im Hosentaschenformat ist mit Steuerkreuz, Modulschacht und Bluetooth-Funktion ausgestattet. Das bedeutet: Das Handy kann per Funk Daten zu einem anderen Gerät übertragen.

Man kann also zusammen daddeln, ohne Kabel zu legen oder die Telefonrechnung mit Online-Gebühren zu belasten. Laut Nokia wollen einige Spielehersteller pünktlich zum Start Games fertig haben, darunter Sega.
