German Indie Team Emergo Entertainment Announces Train Jumble

Emergo Entertainment, based in Bayreuth, has officially announced Train Jumble as its second game project and is launching a playtest on Steam. The studio’s debut game, Fireside, amassed 10,000 wishlist entries within just 24 hours on Steam.
The next few hours and days will reveal whether Emergo Entertainment can achieve a similarly successful announcement for Train Jumble on Steam. Last year, Emergo got 10.000 wishlist entries within 24 hours after announcing Fireside. Starting now, players can sign up for the playtest, which goes live on 19 February.
"We are delighted to announce our second game after our first release, Fireside! This time, we want to develop a game that focuses more on gameplay than story while still retaining many of the aspects that made Fireside a game praised by both press and players," says Managing Director Paul Redetzky.
It is not yet known when the final version of Train Jumble will be released. The game was developed with support from Bavarian games funding, with Emergo Entertainment receiving €80,000 from the Bavarian funding programme in March 2024 to create a prototype—initially submitted under the working title "TrainTastic." At the GDC Emergo entertainment is looking for a publisher.
