Autobahn Racing has been in development for the past three months. It has been announced earlier than usual to allow the community to provide feedback and ideas from the outset of production.

The game aims to recreate the charm of arcade racers from the early 2000s, focusing on speed, handling and an accessible driving experience. Players can race at speeds of up to 300 km/h on 'authentic German Autobahn sections' and in city environments inspired by locations ranging from Munich to Berlin. "The Autobahn itself has been reconstructed using real-world satellite data, ensuring an accurate sense of scale, layout, and atmosphere that blends realism with fast-paced arcade gameplay," say the developers.

Visitors to Play!Con in Trier on 8–9 November 2025 will be among the first to play the game. Autobahn Racing is scheduled for release on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms in 2026. The game will also be self-published by Polygon Art. Based in the Westerwald region of Germany, the studio is also known for titles such as Beyond Enemy Lines, Park Ranger Simulator and United Assault.
