US-Entwickler PopCap hat Konkurrenten Sprout Games übernommen.

PopCap Games hat das US-Studio Sprout Games übernommen. Beide Entwickler sind vor allem für Internetspiele bekannt. Das Sprout-Team soll nun nach Seattle umziehen und in die bestehende Mannschaft von PopCap eingegliedert werden. Sprouts bisheriger Managing Director, James Gwertzman, wird als neuer Director Business Development das neu formierte Team unterstützen. Finanzielle Details wurden nicht veröffentlicht.
