Assemble Entertainment Signs Monolith by Animation Arts
One and a half years after its Steam launch, Assemble Entertainment has taken over publishing duties for Monolith, aiming to attract new players to the point-and-click adventures of German studio Animation Arts.
Originally developed for PC, Monolith has since been released on iOS, Android, and Nintendo Switch. On PC, the title is available on Steam and GOG. Now, with the support of publisher Assemble Entertainment, the game is set to reach an even wider audience.
"We are extremely pleased to be working with Assemble Entertainment. Our adventure game Monolith is in good hands with this experienced team, and we are confident that the gripping journey of space explorer Tessa Carter will reach even more players," says Marco Zeugner, managing director of Animation Arts.
Assemble Entertainment will handle post-launch support and further marketing for Monolith. The publisher has taken a similar approach before, acquiring the game portfolio of Mixtvision after the Munich-based company withdrew from publishing.
