At the Wholesome Snack before The Game Awards, Happy Broccoli Games from Berlin announced the return of Eugene McQuacklin. Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping is set to build on the success of its predecessor in 2025.

German indie studio Happy Broccoli Games is back with another stand-alone adventure in its Duck Detective series. After winning the German Computer Game Award (DCP) in the 'Best Game Design' category for their debut title Kraken Academy, the team released Duck Detective: The Secret Salami last year. Duck Detective's first case, a more humorous take on deduction-based mystery games such as Return of the Obra Dinn, has received more than 95 percent of over 3,600 user reviews on Steam.

Happy Broccoli Games says that Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping will be a two to three hour cozy mystery game featuring a fully voiced cast of suspiciously mysterious characters. About the game: "Duck Detective is back! Get ready to interview suspects, inspect evidence, and deduce the truth in another stand-alone mystery! This campsite might have ghosts, but the real thing haunting Eugene McQuacklin is his failed marriage and bread addiction. Can he escape the shadows of his past? To the annoyance of the Duck Detective, he is joined by a new partner in (solving) crime. Work together to unravel the truth and nibble on the crumbs of justice!"
