Blue Backpack Signs Publishing Agreement with Parco Games for Asia

Blue Backpack, formerly known as the games department of btf (bildundtonfabrik), has announced a strategic partnership with the Asian video game publisher Parco Games. Publishing rights have been granted for Constance and The Berlin Apartment.
Under the terms of the partnership, Parco Games will be responsible for publishing and marketing Blue Backpack’s upcoming IPs and providing regional support for them in key Asian territories, including China, Japan, South Korea and Thailand. Specifically, this concerns the 2D, hand-drawn, action-adventure game Constance, and the first-person, character-driven adventure game The Berlin Apartment. This collaboration is a significant milestone for Blue Backpack, enabling the company to expand its international reach and deliver narrative-focused adventures to players worldwide.
"We're excited to join forces with Parco Games to bring Constance and The Berlin Apartment to players across Asia," said Robert May, Managing Director of Blue Backpack. "Parco's deep understanding of the Asian gaming market, combined with their dedication to delivering rich, story-driven experiences, makes them the ideal partner to ensure Blue Backpack's IP continues to resonate with a global audience."
"We're thrilled to partner with Blue Backpack and bring their distinct narrative vision to players across Asia," said Tony Fukui at Parco Games. "Constance and The Berlin Apartment represent the kind of bold, storytelling that Asian audiences are eager to play and we look forward to elevating both titles in Asia."
"It's an honor to help bring Constance and The Berlin Apartment to players across Asia," said Kyosuke Shimizu at Parco Games. "There's something truly universal in the way both games tell their stories, and we believe players throughout the region will find something in them that resonates on a personal level."
