US publisher Dreamhaven held its first showcase event yesterday, with co-host Geoff Keighley and Dreamhaven CEO Mike Morhaime presenting the company's product pipeline.

At the Dreamhaven Showcase Event, the first-person shooter Wildgate was revealed, the release dates for Sunderfolk and Lynked: Banner of the Spark were announced, and a publishing partnership with Game River (Mechabellum) was presented. The show was streamed on The Game Awards' official Twitch channel.

Wildgate is a team-based first-person shooter that combines multiplayer gameplay with spaceship combat (PvPvE). It is the debut game of the Dreamhaven studio Moonshot Games. "In Wildgate, players (called 'Prospectors') team up in small crews to venture into a hostile, unpredictable, and mysterious region of space in search of an ancient relic known as the Artifact. While in pursuit of the Artifact, players work together to pilot their spacecraft, plunder wreckage, and discover forgotten loot. To win, crews must successfully reach the exit point with the Artifact or go for a domination victory by destroying all rival ships by whatever means necessary," the publisher said. Wildgate will be released in 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A playtest will take place from 10 to 14 April 2025.

Sunderfolk, the tabletop-inspired role-playing game from Dreamhaven studio Secret Door, is scheduled for release on 23 April 2025. Anyone interested in trying out the game can play the free First Look demo on Nvidia GeForce NOW through 7 April. "Up to four players can play Sunderfolk, with each player’s phone or tablet acting as a seamless interface for character management and controlling the action on a television or local/streamed monitor screen for a fresh spin on the classic game night experience."

The action role-playing game Lynked: Banner of the Spark, developed by FuzzyBot, will be released in version 1.0 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on 22 May 2025. Version 1.0 will add chapters five through nine, taking players through the main story and epilogue of the game.

Last but not least, a publishing partnership with development studio Game River was announced for Mechabellum. The competitive auto-battler was distributed by Paradox Arc (Paradox Interactive) until mid-December 2024, after which both parties and Game River parted ways.

Dreamhaven is a US-based game developer and publisher. The company has two in-house studios (Secret Door and Moonshot Games) and provides publishing services to independent developers or shares knowledge and advice with members of its partner studio programme. The publisher's CEO is Mike Morhaime. He co-founded Blizzard Entertainment in 1991 with Frank Pearce and Allen Adham. Morhaime served as CEO and President of Blizzard Entertainment until October 2018. In September 2020, he founded Dreamhaven, with a number of industry veterans some former Blizzard colleagues of Morhaime's also working at Secret Door and Moonshot Games.
