Inayah - Life After Gods, the first game from ExoGenesis Studios, has found a publisher: Headup. This partnership includes handling Inayah's distribution and supporting its launch on multiple consoles.

ExoGenesis Studios has entered into a global publishing and distribution partnership with Headup, based in Düren, Germany, for the game Inayah - Life After Gods. The partnership, which follows a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for the game, will see the Metroidvania-style game released on PC in Q1 2025 and on Switch, PlayStation and Xbox later in 2025. Leveraging its expertise in multi-platform publishing and distribution, Headup will work closely with ExoGenesis Studios to bring the title to gamers worldwide.

"We're pleased to partner with Headup for the release of Inayah – Life After Gods," said Konstantin Okorochkov, CEO of ExoGenesis Studios. "Their understanding of the game's core genre and extensive expertise in console publishing makes them an excellent partner to help bring our vision to players around the world." ExoGenesis Studios is a newly formed studio of international game and software developers who have worked on titles such as Warhammer 40k: Rogue Trader, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous and more. This is the studio's first game.

"We are excited to support ExoGenesis Studios in bringing Inayah to players everywhere," said Dieter Schoeller, CEO of Headup. "The team at ExoGenesis has created a strong narrative and gameplay experience, and we are proud to be part of its journey to reach a global audience."

Alongside the publishing announcement, ExoGenesis Studios has introduced a demo Speedrun Challenge for the game.

Product description: "In the post-apocalyptic remnants of a highly advanced alien civilization, an orphaned outcast named Inayah embarks on a perilous journey to find her tribe. Guided by the spirit of her deceased mentor, she navigates a divided world, forging bonds and uncovering secrets that redefine the meaning of family. Experience an emotionally charged adventure where every decision shapes Inayah's destiny. Inayah will feature an exciting (...) hand-drawn world to explore and navigate. Using the powers of her alien-tech multifunction Gauntlet, Inayah will not only run, jump, and dash through the world but also come face-to-face and battle various creatures and bosses, transforming the Gauntlet into Blades, Fists, and a Flail, each with unique powers and combo moves. Players will customize their characters through an RPG-style mechanic, with options to enhance their companion’s abilities, weapons, and gear."
