RocketBeans Entertainment, a strong player in the influencer and media space, has released its first game. The Hamburg-based company released Backyard Beans as an Early Access title on Steam at gamescom.

True to the motto "If HandofBlood can do it, so can RocketBeans", the Hamburg-based company has also joined the ranks of publishers. Unlike Instinct3, however, RocketBeans Entertainment is not publishing a game from another studio, but is using the medium of games to expand its own brand. RocketBeans Entertainment launched the casual brawler Backyard Beans in Early Access at gamescom.

The game was developed in collaboration with Kevin Suckert, aka Kev Kev. The soundtrack was created by Benjamin Koch, director of brand and, according to the company, a long-time musician.

"I am incredibly proud to be releasing Backyard Beans in partnership with Rocket Beans Entertainment. The game is a labour of love for me, and after a long time of tinkering in the quiet room, I can hardly wait to finally crawl out of my development cave and see the community let their fists fly," said Kevin Suckert. And Alexander Rommel, Head of Brand & Product at RocketBeans Entertainment adds: "With Backyard Beans, we are expanding our already very broad portfolio of services. The release is the culmination of an exciting and completely new project for us."
