"Ghost Detective" is Wooga's first game to debut exclusively on Netflix Games. For CEO Nai Chang, the collaboration is more than a milestone and a remarkable step forward.
With "Ghost Detective", Wooga and Playtika are bringing a game exclusively to Netflix Games for the first time. "Collaborating with Netflix is more than a milestone - it is a testament to our shared commitment to bringing unparalleled entertainment experiences to audiences around the world," said Nai Chang, Managing Director of Wooga. "Like Netflix, Wooga is a beacon of compelling storytelling. Bringing 'Ghost Detective' to Netflix Games is a remarkable step forward. For players, it's a thrilling gaming adventure tailored to the Netflix Games experience."
The Berlin-based company is known for its story-based casual games. It employs more than 300 people from 50 countries. Wooga, which is derived from the words "world of gaming", has been part of Playtika since late 2018. "The launch of 'Ghost Detective' on Netflix Games redefines the boundaries of storytelling and seamlessly combines Wooga's narrative artistry with Netflix's massive reach," said Ofer Kinberg, chief revenue officer at Playtika. "This underscores Playtika's commitment to creating immersive and thought-provoking experiences that engage, challenge and inspire audiences around the world. This fulfils our mission to provide endless ways to play".
In "Ghost Detective", players join the ghost of an experienced police detective to solve the mystery of her own murder. The game is included with a Netflix membership.
