Straight4 Studios and publisher Giants Software will release Project Motor Racing on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S this autumn. Built on the mod-friendly Giants Engine, the racing simulator promises a new benchmark in handling performance.

Published by Giants Software and developed by Straight4 Studios (UK), Project Motor Racing will launch in the fall of 2025 with 27 track layouts and over 70 vehicles from ten racing classes, each car carefully recreated and licensed from car manufacturers such as Lamborghini, Aston Martin, and Audi. From LMP to turn-of-the-century GTs, from today's GT3s to 1970s sports cars, Project Motor Racing is a motorsports-first simulation. Running on the Giants game engine, it delivers handling realism at 720Hz, with more natural, non-linear throttle control alongside precise FFB and out-of-the-box peripheral optimisation.

"This is the next gear for Giants Software: Moving forward, we will be recognized not only as the creators of Farming Simulator but also as the publisher of Project Motor Racing," says Christian Ammann, CEO at Giants Software. "Our strong collaboration with Straight4 gives me full confidence that we’ll deliver an exceptional experience for all sim racing enthusiasts!"

Ian Bell, CEO at Straight4 Studios, noted: "This is not about driving. It's about racing. With our streamlined approach and what we consider to be the most authentic handling model we've ever created, Project Motor Racing is both a nod to our genre's rich legacy and a big step into the next era of simulation."

Project Motor Racing aims to appeal to both experienced and first-time sim racers, with game modes ranging from single-player career mode to in-depth online racing, from leaderboards to full race weekends. "An immersive racing experience will put drivers into the cauldron of a racing cockpit with visible G forces, heat-haze, braking forces, and dirt, alongside sound design that captures motor racing’s true ferocity. "True2Track" will allow racers to experience the authenticity of every track with dynamic weather conditions, adaptive racing & drying line, and a 24-hour day/night cycle", the developers said.

Project Motor Racing is coming to PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S this fall. Pre-orders include the bonus GTE Decade Pack, featuring seven extreme examples of high-performance cars. The game will be available in retail stores at the same time as its digital release. astragon Entertainment will once again be handling distribution, as it did for Farming Simulator 25.
