The Tale of Bistun developer Black Cube Games (BCG) is the latest studio to join the remote control productions (rcp) family. The Munich-based production house is expanding despite challenging times and has acquired a minority stake in the Dutch indie developer.

Currently, BCG is developing its roguelike wrestling game Realm of Fame, which will be showcased to potential publishers at the upcoming GDC in San Francisco. The studio previously launched The Tale of Bistun for PC and Xbox in 2022, followed by releases on PS4, PS5, and Switch in January 2025.

BCG is the newest member of the rcp studio group, which follows a "growing family" model, where studios join based on a foundation of trust and collaboration developed over time through close cooperation.

BCG CEO Ali Boroumand comments: "Joining the rcp family marks a significant step in professionalizing our growing studio. Over the last two years working alongside rcp, we've already grown at an exponentially faster rate and have been exposed to numerous amazing opportunities. Seb, Hendrik and the rcp family have shown they truly care about our indie studio and our dream."

"Black Cube Games is an ideal fit for the rcp family. They bring an innovative approach to their projects, enhancing our family's diversity. They've already demonstrated great synergy with our other studios through co-development and knowledge sharing. I'm thrilled that a chance meeting with Ali at the Reboot conference in Croatia has blossomed into a lasting partnership that benefits both BCG and the entire rcp family," adds Seb Downie-Blackwell, rcp Studio Partner.
