Today sees the release of Firefighting Simulator: Ignite on PC and consoles, potentially the most significant release of the year from astragon Entertainment. The game was developed by weltenbauer., the team behind the Construction Simulator franchise.

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite, developed by weltenbauer. and published by astragon Entertainment, is available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Also out now is Firefighting Simulator: Ignite - Year 1 Edition, which includes the base game, the Fire Station Companion Pack, and the Year 1 Season Pass. The game is developed with the support of the 'federal funding for video games' initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space, receiving €1,939,023 in funding.

In Firefighting Simulator: Ignite, players take on the role of a firefighter and face a variety of missions. These include rescuing trapped civilians and tackling fires involving electricity, flammable liquids, grease, backdrafts, flashovers and explosions. All missions can be played in either cooperative multiplayer mode, which supports up to four players (cross-play), or single-player mode, in which NPC team members provide support and can be commanded. The fire station in the fictional city of Oakridge serves as the central hub from which missions are launched. To combat various types of fires, Firefighting Simulator: Ignite features authentic equipment from Haix, Fire-Dex, and Stihl, as well as officially licensed fire trucks from Rosenbauer America.
