Capcom is set to release the survival horror game Resident Evil Requiem for PC and consoles on 27 February 2026. To celebrate this major release, the publisher is holding a two-day launch event at Xperion in Hamburg.
The ninth instalment of the main Resident Evil series will be released on 27 February 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S. To celebrate the highly anticipated release of the game, which is on over five million wishlists, a launch event will be held in Hamburg.
This event will take place on 26 and 27 February 2026 at MediaMarkt Xperion Hamburg. Visitors will be able to try out the game at over 30 stations before its release, and there will be an interactive Resident Evil Horror Walk Experience involving creators, the community and the audience. Attendees can also look forward to a live stage show, photo opportunities, competitions, merchandise and cosplayers. The stage show and horror walk will be livestreamed on the YouTube and Twitch channels of Capcom Germany and Rocket Beans TV for those unable to attend the event in Hamburg. Rocket Beans TV will host the livestream.
