This week, Square Enix's second pop-up store in Europe is open for visitors at the GameStop Späti in Berlin, and the retail chain is thrilled with the ongoing partnership.

From November 4 until the end of the week, visitors can explore Square Enix's latest pop-up area at the “GameStop Späti” in Berlin. This outlet is a pop-up store within a concept shopping mall across from Berlin's Breitscheidplatz, aimed at enhancing the shopping experience in physical retail with innovative concepts.

The GameStop Späti design features approximately 120 modular white industrial crates that can be flexibly arranged across the 170-square-meter area, allowing for limitless creativity in staging themed worlds. "We are pleased that Square Enix approached us for this second pop-up space in Europe," says Mark Singrin, Director of Marketing & eCommerce at GameStop Germany. "It is essential for us to create authentic themed worlds for gaming fans, as the innovative retail business thrives on active community involvement. This pop-up store exemplifies how we are reimagining brick-and-mortar retail to offer a unique shopping experience."

In the pop-up store, gamers can immerse themselves in various themed worlds, discover exclusive merchandise, and participate in a range of events. In the ‘Gaming Lounge,’ visitors can pick up a console and start playing.

Marcus Wollny, Director of Merchandise & Business Analysis at GameStop Germany, considers the collaboration between GameStop Germany and Square Enix a complete success: "Partnerships are central to us, and we are especially pleased about our long-standing collaboration with Square Enix. This cooperation enables us to offer our customers products and experiences that fuel their passion for gaming. The temporary pop-up store is yet another milestone in our successful partnership."
