Because retailers certainly won't be. And I am not just talking about game retailers. My colleague Stephan has collected instances of unusual companies hopping on the GTA bandwagon, from grocery store to cryptobanking. The biggest game of the year is a money maker, not just for Rockstar or Netflix, but apparently also for supermarket chains like Edeka and Best Buy.

Gaming Agency MYI Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary

The full-service agency MYI, which specialises in gaming and nerd culture, is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Emerging from the esports clan mYinsanity in 2016, the agency now employs over 30 people in Germany and Switzerland.

With one day less than 2026, the GDC Festival of Gaming 2027 promises a denser program. The new business hall will deliver dedicated meeting spaces. The organisers promise more content on "the days when the community is most active".

Play! Con Expects 90 Exhibitors For Its Fifth Edition
