Sacred 2 Remaster, which was announced at the THQ Nordic Showcase 2025, now has a release date. This updated version of the action role-playing game is set to launch on PC and consoles in November.

Sacred 2 Remaster will launch on 11 November 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This edition will be available digitally at an SRP of $19.99/€19.99 on PC and $29.99/€29.99 on consoles.

It is being developed by SparklingBit, a German game development studio founded by the original creators of the Sacred series and Funatics (Jumpgate AB).

Sacred 2 Remaster breathes new life into the classic game by offering smoother and more responsive combat, a modern interface, full controller support, bug fixes and enhanced visuals, including improved textures, lighting effects and view distance. The remaster includes all the original game's expansions and updates.

The original Sacred 2: Fallen Angel was developed by Ascaron and published by Deep Silver (Koch Media, now Plaion) for PC in 2008 and for consoles in 2009. Ascaron filed for bankruptcy in 2009, after which the company was dissolved. The Sacred publishing rights then went to Deep Silver. In May 2020, THQ Nordic acquired the Sacred publishing rights from its corporate sister company.

THQ Nordic will also release Wreckreation on 28 October 2025. This game from Three Fields Entertainment (Dangerous Driving) combines arcade racing with open-world building. SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide, developed by Purple Lamp, is set for release on 18 November 2025.
