Die bisherige Mobile Business Unit von RTL Interactive agiert ab sofort als eigenständige Firma; Geschäftsführer ist Wolfgang Kasper.

Ab sofort werden die Mobile-Business-Aktivitäten von RTL interactive in einer eigenen Firma zusammengefasst. Die RTL mobile GmbH soll sich um den gesamten Bereich kümmern - von der Entwicklung mobiler TV-Kanäle, über die Veröffentlichung von Handyspielen bis hin zum Betreiben mobiler Portale etwa für Musik-Downloads. Geschäftsführer der neuen Unternehmung wird Wolfgang Kasper, der bislang Direktor der Mobile-Unit bei RTL Interactive war. "Grundsätzlich verstehen wir uns als Kompetenz-Center in Sachen mobiles Business und sind Ansprechpartner für alle mobilen Aktivitäten rund um die Marke RTL", erläutert der 45-jährige Manager.

"Das gilt sowohl für gemeinsame Projekte mit externen Partnern wie Mobilfunkbetreibern, Handyherstellern oder Werbekunden als auch für die Entwicklung hausinterner Angebote, wie beispielsweise die mobilen Applikationen für die RTL Video-Plattform clipfish", so Kasper weiter. RTL Interactive engagiert sich bereits seit August 2004 im Mobile-Entertainment-Markt.
