In March 2024, no other game sold better in Germany than EA Sports FC 24. Helldivers 2 is only slightly behind, and is even ahead of Dragon's Dogma 2. C&C's comeback is also impressive. In total, there are eight games in the top 20 from publisher Electronic Arts.

There has been a change at the top of the official game charts in Germany. EA Sports FC 24 and Helldivers 2 have swapped places. The football game is once again ahead of the co-op shooter. The biggest newcomer is Capcom's Dragon's Dogma 2, which debuts in third place. In the wake of the second instalment, its predecessor makes a comeback in 15th place.

The venerable Command & Conquer - The Ultimate Collection achieves a strong fifth place thanks to the re-release of the RTS classics on Steam, while EA continues to have strong back-catalogue titles in the charts, notably It Takes Two and Need for Speed: Heat. Other new entries include the PS5 exclusive Rise of the Ronin at 7th place, WWE 2K24 at 8th place and Switch exclusive Princess Peach: Showtime! at 12th place, while Horizon Forbidden West re-enters the rankings at 14th thanks to its PC release.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which was third in February, is no longer in the top 20. Like Mario vs. Donkey Kong, Pacific Drive and Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, Skull and Bones has left the top list after just one month.

The charts from game - Association of the German Games Industry are cross-platform and include the best-selling games for PC and consoles on discs and as downloads in Germany in the respective month. The data is provided by Games Sales Data (GSD), a platform of Video Games Europe (VGE), formerly the Interactive Software Federation of Europe (ISFE). Numerous retailers, publishers and digital distribution platforms such as the Nintendo eShop, PlayStation Network, Steam and Xbox Live report sales figures from Germany to GSD. However, digital sales of Nintendo titles from the eShop are not included. Epic Games Publishing and Larian Studios also do not provide sales data to GSD.
