German Games Charts December 2024 With Many Returners and Old Favourites

EA Sports FC 25 continues to top the PC and console charts in Germany in December 2024. In time for Christmas, numerous games and long-running titles have returned. Seven games from Electronic Arts are in the top 20.

The official charts for December 2024, published by the game association, have revealed which games were particularly popular in Germany over the Christmas period. As in the previous month, EA Sports FC 25 remained at the top of the charts, followed by Hogwarts Legacy (first released in February 2023), which is becoming an absolute long-runner for Warner Bros. Games. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 remains in third place, Super Mario Party Jamboree moves up one place, and Grand Theft Auto V completes the top five. Farming Simulator 2025 from Giants Software, released in November 2024, remains popular, dropping only from second to sixth place.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, released in December, missed the charts, most likely due to its day one availability on Xbox Game Pass. Mario & Luigi: Brothership (released in November) and Dragon Age: The Veilguard (released at the end of October) also left the top 20. The bottom half of the bestseller list is full of returning titles, also driven by promotions - from A Way Out to Minecraft, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Gran Turismo 7 and Command & Conquer: The Ultimate Collection.

The charts provide a unique and comprehensive overview of the most successful games in Germany in a given month. The charts are published monthly by game - the German Games Industry Association.
