German Games Charts October 2024: Call of New Entrants
Call of Duty leads the way in October, despite the shooter being included in multiple Game Pass tiers for the first time. Black Ops 6 tops the German games charts, while a total of six newcomers in the top ten have also shaken up the charts.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 takes the lead in the German games sales charts for October 2020, pushing EA Sports FC 25 into second place. Several new releases follow. The 3D fighting game Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero enters the charts at number three, ahead of Super Mario Party Jamboree, which debuts at number four. Dragon Age: The Veilguard, released on the last day of October, made it to number six, while Konami's Silent Hill 2 remake secured seventh place. Life is Strange: Double Exposure debuted at #10, Metaphor: ReFantazio at #13 and Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered at #16. Diablo IV gets a slight boost to 11th place with the release of Vessel of Hatred.
Hogwarts Legacy, Grand Theft Auto V and The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom remain in the top ten. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II, released by Focus Entertainment in early September, has lost a lot of positions (from 03 to 14). The following games have left the top 20 Astrobot (#04 in September), NBA 2K25 (#08 in September), Age of Mythology: Retold (#09 in September), Star Wars Outlaws (#11 in September) and Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown (#12 in September). The Crew 2 and The Crew Motorfest, which benefited from promotions last month, are also out of the top 20.
Black Myth: Wukong from Game Science is missing from the charts as the publisher does not report sales data to GSD, similar to Larian Studios or Epic Games Publishing.
The data is collected by Games Sales Data (GSD), a platform launched by Video Games Europe to measure physical and digital sales of computer and video games. The charts provide a unique and comprehensive overview of the most successful games in Germany in a given month. The charts are published monthly by game – the German Games Industry Association.
