Für über 500.000 abgesetzte Einheiten wird "Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII" vom game-Verband mit einem Sales-Award-Sonderpreis prämiert. Der erste Teil der Shooter-Serie, der ohne Singleplayer-Kampagne erschien, braucht rund vier Monate für die Verkaufsmarke.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII" bekommt einen Sales-Award-Sonderpreis für 500.000 verkaufte Einheiten in Deutschland. Der Ego-Shooter von Activision erschien am 12. Oktober für PlayStation 4, Xbox One und PC. Den Sales-Award in Platin für 200.000 abgesetzte Stück bekam "CoD: Black Ops IIII" vom Branchenverband bereits im November verliehen. Es ist der erste Teil der Serie, der auf einen klassischen Einzelspieler-Modus verzichtet und stattdessen nur Mehrspieler-Inhalte bietet.

Der Sonderpreis ist der einzige Sales-Award, der im Februar vergeben wird.
