Sega und Reebok haben ein exklusives Sponsoringabkommen geschlossen. Dabei geht es um die Bereitstellung von Preisen für den europaweiten Sonic-Adventure-Online-Wettbewerb. Dieser findet von Anfang Dezember bis Mitte Januar statt und wurde speziell für die europäischen Dreamcast-Besitzer konzipiert. Sega selbst bezeichnet den Wettbewerb als weiteren Schritt, um eine europäische Dreamcast Online Community zu schaffen.
