In 2026, Telescope Game Studios aims to establish Whale Singer as a transmedia universe, featuring a premium game, an interactive storybook, and an animated feature film. As an additional teaser and a special holiday treat, the Brandenburg-based company has released a narrative short game, Lani's Call, for free.

Lani's Call – A Tiny Whale Singer Adventure is a linear, narrative game with a playtime of about ten minutes. This cozy adventure sets the stage for Rise of the Leviathan, the premium game that Telescope Game Studios plans to release in 2026, alongside the animated feature film The Last Whale Singer and an interactive storybook from the Whale Singer universe. Lani's Call serves as a free Christmas gift, intended to help build a community around the Whale Singer universe. The game is available for free download on itch.io.

"When our incredibly talented team pitched this concept, it was an instant yes. Lani's Call is a true labor of love—a compact, heartfelt story set in a stunning underwater world, brought to life with a unique tilt-shift perspective and a magical score," said Reza Memari, Co-Founder of Telescope Game Studios. "This short game gives players a meaningful glimpse into the Wahle Singer universe, which our studios will continue to expand with the premium game Rise of the Leviathan, the animated feature film The Last Whale Siger, and an interactive storybook in 2026—with more to come in the future."
