Xbox also showcased a number of games at Tokyo Game Show 2024. A number of third-party partners are bringing even more games to the Xbox platform. And the release date for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has been set.

Microsoft also made a number of game announcements at the Tokyo Game Show 2024 Broadcast. Some of these had an Asian connection.

Games from Xbox Game Studios, Blizzard and Bethesda

World's Edge gave players an initial look into the first expansion coming to Age of Mythology: Retold, Immortal Pillars. This expansion features an all-new pantheon of gods, mythic units, divine powers, and a campaign inspired by the stories of Chinese mythology.

Blizzard Entertainment announced that StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft II land on PC Game Pass on 5 November. An Overwatch 2 collaboration with My Hero Academia was mentioned.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is launching on Xbox Series X|S, PC and Game Pass on 9 December and will be fully localised in Japanese. Fallout 76 will get Pets (cats and dogs) this December.

Third-Party Games

During the Xbox Games Showcase at the Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix announced that the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series, Legend of Mana and Trials of Mana, will be playable for the first time on the Xbox Series X|S and PC (via the Windows Store) and are now available digitally. Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake was also shown with a trailer.

Atelier Yumia: The Alchemist of Memories & the Envisioned Land will be the first game in franchise history available on the Xbox.

Keiichiro Toyama, known for creating Silent Hill, as well as the Siren and Gravity Rush series, presented the first title by Bokeh Game Studio, Slitterhead. It will be released for Xbox Series X|S on 8 November 2024.

  • Q-Games released All You Need is Help on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
  • Asurajang, anime-style battle royale action game, arrives in 2025.
  • Bleach: Rebirth of Souls will launch in early 2025.
  • The upcoming beta of FragPunk launches 10 October.
  • A demo of Metaphor: ReFantazio is available today.
  • Also announced was Starbites, a sci-fi turn-based RPG that lets players explore a desert planet.
  • Suikoden 1&2 HD Remaster will be released on 6 March 2025 on PC and all consoles.
  • Bandai Namco will launch Synduality: Echo of Ada, a sci-fi, PvPvE extraction shooter, on 24 January 2025. -Another world premiere was Tanuki: Pon's Summer, a classic Japan-inspired lifestyle game, part construction sim, part BMX trick-a-thon, part minigame compilation.
  • Threads of Time, a classic 2.5D JRPG across ages, was also featured. This first look at the game gives a peek into the cinematic turn-based and combo-focused combat.
  • We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie is available with Xbox Game Pass today.
