Once again this year, Nacon will be hosting a Connect stream on 6 March. During this showcase, the French company will present both games and new gaming accessories. Ahead of the stream, Edge of Memories from Midgar Studio has been revealed.

Nacon Connect 2025 will showcase Nacon's gaming ecosystem, both as a game developer/publisher and as a manufacturer of accessories. Titles already announced include Hell is Us, Edge of Memories and Dragonkin: The Banished, as well as other projects that will be added to the Nacon portfolio in the coming months. The Nacon Connect will be broadcast on the official Nacon channels on 6 March 2025 at 19:00.

However, Nacon couldn't hold back the announcement of Edge of Memories for Connect 2025. The new game is developed by Midgar Studio in Montpellier. It is set in the universe of Edge of Eternity, this JRPG was released in 2021 and had over a million players. Edge of Memories will be released in autumn 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam). Unlike the first game, the turn-based style of its predecessor will be changed in favour of an action-RPG approach. Also working on the game are character designer Raita Kazama (Xenoblade Chronicles X), writer Sawako Natori (NieR), vocalist Emi Evans (NieR / NieR: Automata) and composers Yasunori Mitsuda (Chrono Trigger / Xenogears) and Mariam Abounnasr (Xenoblade Chronicles 3 / Oninaki).

"We are thrilled to expand the world of the Edge of franchise with a new installment that takes on a fresh artistic direction and marks a turning point in gameplay, shifting from the strategic turn-based style of its predecessor in favor of a more dynamic and immersive Action RPG approach. As true JRPG enthusiasts, we have poured a lot of love into this project, and we can't wait to share it with both fans of the genre and newcomers alike," says Jérémy Zeler-Maury, CEO of Midgar Studio.
