GamesMarket Daily – 19 Oct 26: Nadine Trautzsch, GameRecruit, Lena Laaser, Luna, SDG+ Lab, AEVI, The Pre-Show
Esports in HR and a new in-person event designed to get the media and content creators up to speed on the upcoming games over the next few months are just two of today’s news stories that demonstrate once again that gaming is a people business.
as we know only too well. It comes as no surprise to me that there are days when the actions of individual people take centre stage. Whether it’s researcher Nadine Trautzsch or Timo Schöber, who, more than almost anyone else, bridges the worlds of HR and esports in Germany. Another example is Lena Laaser, who, as CEO of good shift and co-founder of GAME: IN, is a role model not only for many women in the industry. Perhaps stories like these have prompted the organisers at PressEngine to organise ‘The Pre-Show’, a classic new product launch event held in person. After all, when it comes to press coverage or coverage by content creators, gaming is also a people’s business.
Here are the news of the day!
