As of 31 January 2026, Konami Digital Entertainment announced that "sales" of the Silent Hill 2 Remake had surpassed five million units worldwide. This figure reflects digital and physical sales, as well as downloads from stores and subscription services, across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game is included in PlayStation Plus Extra. Around a year after its release, the game had sold two and a half million copies.

The game, developed by Bloober Team from Poland, was released on 8 October 2024. It is a remake of the original psychological horror game that was released on the PlayStation 2 in 2001. Players take on the role of James Sunderland, who explores the decaying town of Silent Hill - a place filled with memories of his late wife, Mary.

Last year, Silent Hill f, developed by NeoBards Entertainment, was released on 25 September and achieved sales of over one million in three days. Planned for release this year is Silent Hill: Townfall, which is being developed by Screen Burn and published in partnership with Annapurna Interactive. This standalone psychological horror game is set in cold, remote 1996 Scotland.
