Snakebyte Group has announced a milestone in its corporate evolution as it transitions into Playcorion Group. This newly structured entity is designed to support long-term strategic growth, with a focus on accelerating the expansion of the companies' brands and product lines.

As part of this transformation, the Playcorion Group will exit the distribution business entirely, effective from March 2026. Playcorion Group will sell its distribution subsidiary, Snakebyte Distribution GmbH, and will no longer conduct any distribution activities under the Playcorion Group umbrella. However, distribution will continue through established external partners and market-specific arrangements, ensuring continuity and stability across all regions.

This decision signals a shift towards a brand-led operating model, enabling Playcorion Group to concentrate on building, developing and scaling its own brands on a global scale. Within the Playcorion Group portfolio, each company will be organised into a dedicated brand company, focused on its respective category and customer base.

  • Honeycomb: Flight simulation hardware and associated ecosystems
  • snakebyte: PC and console gaming accessories, peripherals, and licensed products
  • PebblePlay: Gaming hardware and adjacent devices designed for a younger audience, digital content, and subscription services

Mike Steup, Chairman and Founder of Playcorion Group commented: "Our transition to Playcorion Group demonstrates a renewed focus on strategic growth and is a direct result of the evolution of our business. By separating brand operations from distribution, we're able to channel our energy into what we do best, building strong, category leading brands, and creating a clearer, more scalable foundation for the future."
