Aufgrund der hohen Nachfrage kündigte Square Enix die "Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster" für die Konsolen an. Die Sammlung enthält die ersten sechs Final-Fantasy-Spiele inklusive neuer Funktionen. Sie sollen im Frühjahr 2023 für die Switch und PlayStation 4 erscheinen. Die Titel sind bereits für den PC und Mobile veröffentlicht worden.

Weiterhin wurde die "Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Remaster -FF35th Anniversary Edition" vorgestellt. Diese enthält die sechs Remaster, den Soundtrack auf Vinyl, Pixelfiguren und ein Artbook. Die Edition wird rund 275 Euro kosten.
