The Swiss Game Developers Association has announced the winners of this year’s awards. In addition to the prizes for Best Entertainment Game and Most Anticipated Game, awards were also presented for student projects and serious games.

Unlike in 2023, the Swiss Game Developers Association (SGDA) presented its awards via livestream this year rather than at an on-site conference. An international jury selected the nominees and winners. In the main category, Best Entertainment Game 2024, Lual Games' I Doesn't Exist a modern text adventure beat out Hooded Traveler Games, Blobfish Games, Klakmioch, and Diditopia Games to take the top spot.

In the second category for commercial games, Most Anticipated Game 2024, there were two winners. Tom the Postgirl from the Oopsie Daisies Studio won the award. However, the jury also decided to present its special prize, the Excellence Award 2024, to Time Flies from Playables.

The Best Serious Game Award 2024 went to MedBay-418 by Atelier Sémaphore and DSM Geneva. As in previous years, a separate jury—composed of experienced professionals from the Swiss games industry—was responsible for judging the final category, Best Student Game 2024. This year’s winner was The Copperfield Department by Alex Häberlin, Adrian Bumann, Nabil Bhuiyan, and Jonathan Beeler from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU).
