Take 2 hat sein Entwicklungsstudios Rockstar Vienna geschlossen. Ein entsprechenden Blogeintrag eines ehemaligen Angestellten wurde von Take 2 auf Anfrage von GamesMarkt inzwischen bestätigt.

Take 2 Interactive hat Rockstar Vienna geschlossen. Dies schreibt Entwickler Jurie Horneman, seit April 2003 bei Rockstar Vienna, in seinem Internet-Blog. Horneman berichtet, dass er von der sofortigen Schließung erfahren habe, als er am 11. Mai in die Arbeit gehen wollte. Begründet wurde ihm die Schließung mit den "herausfordernden Rahmenbedingungen für das Videospielgeschäft im Allgemeinen und für Rockstar Vienna im Besonderen durch den aktuellen Generationswechsel im Konsolenbereich". Laut Horneman arbeiteten zuletzt über 100 Entwickler für Rockstar Vienna. Auf Anfrage von GamesMarkt bestätigte ein Sprecher von Take 2 Interactive Deutschland die Studioschließung, wollte jedoch keine weiteren Details nennen.
