TDK Mediactive, Spiel- und DVD-Publishingdivision von TDK, hat den US-Release des Spiels "Robotech: Battlecry" für Herbst 2002 angekündigt. Wann der Titel, der auf einer erfolgreichen Animé-Serie basiert und für die Systeme PS2, Xbox, GameCube und GBA umgesetzt wird, nach Europa kommt, blieb offen. Als Entwicklungspartner fungiert die New Media-Division von Mattel. Die inzwischen aufgelöste Mattel Interactive hatte im Jahr 2000 die Rechte an der "Robotech"-Serie .
