The Game Awards 2025 Nominees

The nominations for The Game Awards 2025 have been announced. For the main prize, 'Game of the Year', Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, Donkey Kong Bananza, Hades II, Hollow Knight: Silksong and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II have been nominated.

With 12 total nominations, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is the most nominated game in TGA history - notably, the game has also been nominated three times in the Best Performance category. Publisher Kepler Interactive has received 13 award nominations, 12 of which are for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and one for Rematch.

Death Stranding 2: On The Beach and Ghost of Yōtei have both been nominated seven times. This makes Sony Interactive Entertainment the most nominated publisher, having received a total of 17 nominations. Hades II from Supergiant Games has been nominated for six awards, while Hollow Knight: Silksong, from Team Cherry, could win five.

From the German-speaking region, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, published by Deep Silver (Plaion), is in the running. This medieval RPG was developed by Warhorse Studios in Prague. It has been nominated for three awards, including the main prize.

The Game Awards 2025 will be streamed live on 11 December at 4:30 PM PT / 7:30 PM ET, or on 12 December at 12:30 AM GMT / 1:30 AM CET.
