Samsung, McDonald's, and Honda at the Anniversary TwitchCon Europe
With the start of ticket sales for TwitchCon Europe 2025, Twitch has announced its first partners for the community event, along with official usage data for 2024. On average, over 2.5 million people watched Twitch continuously.
It has been known since autumn that TwitchCon Europe 2025 will take place in Rotterdam on 31 May and 1 June. Now, Twitch has also launched ticket sales for the anniversary edition—TwitchCon has been running for 10 years. At the same time, Twitch has named McDonald's, Honda, and Samsung, as well as Capcom, Modern Wolf, and Vertigo Games, as the first partners.

Very few details about the programme have been revealed. Several stages are planned, where esports tournaments will take place. There will also be panels, workshops, and exclusive insights.
Alongside the start of ticket sales, Twitch has also released updated facts and figures. According to the company, 20 billion hours of streams were watched, and more than 879 million hours were streamed in 2024. Over the course of the year, 9.51 million new streamers were counted, compared to over 10 million the previous year. Last but not least, an average of more than 2.5 million people worldwide watched Twitch at any given time.
