The Esports World Cup Federaion has unveiled the official song, which will be performed live at the opening ceremony on 10 July. It is by South Korean artist Dino, Duckwrth and Telle Smith from the USA.

We know it from the Olympics and the World Cup, and now we know it from the Esports World Cup: the organisers of the Esports Cup Federation have unveiled the official song for this year's EWC. It's called ‘Til My Fingers Bleed’ and features South Korean artist Dino from the boy band Seventeen and US artists Duckwrth and Telle Smith.

The song will be performed live at the EWC opening ceremony, where Post Malone, Alesso and Tina Guo will also be performing. "At its heart, the Esports World Cup is a global celebration of community – where gaming, creativity, and culture converge on the world’s biggest stage. EWC Music, our official song, and the Opening Ceremony help define the identity of the tournament," said Mike McCabe, Chief Operating Officer, Esports World Cup Foundation.

Viranda Tantula, Executive Creative Director, EWC Music, added: "Music is a universal language, and this is something it shares with gaming. What inspires us at this intersection of music and esports is the opportunity to shape new sounds for a truly global audience. We’ve always been drawn to creative experimentation, and with 'Til My Fingers Bleed', we wanted the collision of genres and international artists to reflect the same global mix of games and players that defines the Esports World Cup. The whole team has poured their hearts into this project, and we hope the community, k-pop, hip-hop, and rock fans feel the energy in both the track and the show."

The fact that the official EWC song combines elements of K-pop, hip-hop and rock not only fits in with the global aspirations of the EWC, but is also likely to be a good decision from a commercial point of view. Although there are no official figures on costs and revenues, the EWC, which is only taking place for the second time this year, is unlikely to have reached profitability yet. At the end of 2024, German sports magazine Spobis published an estimate of the revenues generated by the first EWC, focusing primarily on sponsorship money.

The Esports World Cup 2025 will once again feature over 2,000 athletes and 200 esports organisers from over 100 countries. Twenty-five tournaments are planned over several weeks with a total prize pool of over $70 million. In addition, 40 esports organisations will receive $20 million in support through the EWCF Club Partner Programme.
