Heroes of History is the next new game from InnoGames, the creators of Forge of Empires. It is a city-building strategy game with a strong PvP focus and historical characters. Heroes of History will launch on iOS and Android, with the simultaneous opening of a beta server for the browser version.

InnoGames has announced its new strategy game Heroes of History. Players build their own empire and recruit famous historical figures to fight as heroes on their behalf.  The game, which will be available for iOS, Android and as a browser game, combines gameplay elements from other InnoGames titles with new mechanics. The German development team is putting a strong focus on PvP.

"After more than 20 years of creating strategy games, we are excited to release Heroes of History, a new title that takes PvP battles to the next level. Heroes of History introduces an entirely new layer to the gaming experience. For the first time, we're presenting a rich narrative layer in a city builder game, offering players an immersive story alongside intense strategic gameplay. Meticulously detailed city building fun meets real-time PvP action and rich storytelling. We are eager to see which historical and mythological characters players will choose to battle with," says Christian Reshöft, Chief Product Officer of InnoGames.

Players begin in the Stone Age and build a small settlement into a metropolis over the course of time. Along the way, they embark on a time travel campaign to save humanity from disaster. Fortunately, Albert Einstein is on hand to guide players through their PvE adventures. In PvP mode, historical figures and heroes from mythology are ready for battle - from Hercules and Medusa to Joan of Arc, over 70 renowned characters await their call to action.

InnoGames is one of Germany's leading developers of mobile and browser games. Founded in 2007, the Hamburg-based company is now part of the Modern Times Group (MTG) and employs more than 350 people from over 40 nations.
