Vier Jahre nachdem erstmals der Charakter "Rayman" auftauchte, zieht Ubi Soft eine zufriedenstellende Bilanz: Die Nachfrage stieg von Jahr zu Jahr. Insgesamt wurden weltweit seit Verkaufsstart rund 4,2 Millionen Einheiten der verschiedenen "Rayman"-Titel verkauft. Damit mit der Erfolg anhält, plant Ubi Soft für Herbst '99 den Release der PC- und Nintendo 64-Version von "Rayman 2". Im Herbst 2000 wird der Charakter dann sein TV-Debüt geben.
