French publisher Ubisoft is bringing two AAA titles to gamescom in Cologne. Star Wars Outlaws can be played at 100 stations. Assassin's Creed Shadows will be shown in a cinema. Esports matches in Rainbow Six Siege and XDefiant will take place in the Xperion. An Anno community event is also planned.

At gamescom 2024, Ubisoft will present this year's blockbusters Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin's Creed Shadows in Hall 6.1 | B020 - C021 and C011 - B010, respectively, in a themed atmosphere. Visitors will be able to play a mission of Star Wars Outlaws on 100 demo stations before the game's official launch on 30 August. Access to the stand is restricted to those aged 16 and over. Ubisoft's hardware partner for the Star Wars monitors is BenQ. Assassin's Creed Shadows will be the subject of a developer presentation in a 400-seat cinema. Among other things, the different gameplay styles of the two protagonists Naoe and Yasuke will be shown. Photographer eosAndy and Ubisoft will be offering free photo sessions at the Assassin's Creed stand during the show. Cosplayers will also have the chance to enter their pictures in the #AssassinsCreedCosplayContest. Ubisoft's presence will be much bigger this year compared to 2023, which focused on The Crew Motorfest.

The European R6 Combine Final will take place at Xperion on Hansaring on 23 August as part of gamescom, where the two best Rainbow Six Siege teams from Europe will compete live on site for a share of the 20,000 Euros prize pool. Those interested will also be able to compete in an on-site XDefiant arena.

Anno Union (the official Anno community) is also taking the opportunity to engage directly with fans and Anno enthusiasts by inviting them to the first ever Anno Builders Event. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and talk to members of the development team and attend presentations. The Anno Builders Event will take place on 21 August at the Roonburg in Cologne starting at 6pm (registration).
