First downhill biking, now downhill skiing. Megagon Industries, the Berlin-based indie team behind the successful biking game Lonely Mountains: Downhill, will release Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders next week.

Berlin-based studio Megagon Industries will release Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders for PC and Xbox on 21 January 2025. The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass. Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders is the follow-up to the successful downhill biking game Lonely Mountains: Downhill, which was released in 2019 with publisher Thunderful Games. It had more than five million players. This time Megagon Industries will publish the game on their own.

Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders is a skiing game with a cross-platform multiplayer mode (co-op or competitive) for two to eight players. It "is a game about skiing down gorgeous mountain vistas. Slice through deep snow, skitter over ice lakes, and leap into the air in spectacular jumps, all surrounded by a variety of breathtaking landscapes. Fancy a challenge? Perform daredevil tricks or try to best your time for a spot on the leaderboard. Or you can take the road less travelled, discovering shortcuts as you explore the slope. Bring friends along for the ride in the new online multiplayer modes, working your way down together as a team or competing in a race to the base," the developers said.
