Die US-amerikanischen Telekommunikationskonzerne Verizon Wireless und Sprint werden ab sofort Mobile Games von Electronic Arts in ihre Portfolios aufnehmen.

Der zweitgrößte US-amerikanische Mobilfunkprovider Verizon Wireless und der drittgrößte Anbieter Sprint werden ihren Kunden ab sofort Handyspiele von Electronic Arts anbieten. Zu den ersten Mobile Games des Spielepublishers sollen nach Angaben der Provider "Madden NFL 06", "Tiger Woods PGA Tour" und "NBA Live 06" gehören. Die Spiele sollen bei Verizon Wireless über den im Februar 2005 gestarteten VCast-Dienst angeboten werden, hieß es.
