Tempest Rising and RuneScape: Dragonwilds Shake up Steam's Weekly Top Sellers
Germany's reputation as a strong market for strategy games has been proven once again, with Tempest Rising jumping to third place in the weekly Steam charts. Pax Augusta by Roger Gassmann and Senatis is also in the top 20.
In the weekly Steam charts (by revenue) from 15 to 22 April 2025, the top of the list is dominated as usual by Counter-Strike 2, which holds the top positions both in Germany and worldwide.
In Germany, Tempest Rising, published by 3D Realms and Knights Peak (My.Games), shot to third place on launch day and ninth place worldwide. The game was supposed to launch in Advanced Access and then the Standard Edition a week later, but something went wrong, and both versions went live on the same day.
Pax Augusta, developed by Swiss solo developer Roger Gassmann and published by Frankfurt-based Senatis, entered the charts at number 18, and at number 17 in Switzerland. However, it did not make it into the global top 100. German tower defense strategy roguelite Nordhold dropped out of the top 20 this week.
Internationally, the survival action adventure RuneScape: Dragonwilds from Jagex is doing very well, debuting at number two worldwide (with over 50,000 CCU) and number four in Germany. It is also clear that the new season is attracting players back to Last Epoch, with the Last Epoch - Woven Legend Supporter Pack, priced at just under €60, also proving very popular.
