The annual "Big Games Industry Employment Survey 2025" is now live. InGame Job and Values Value are looking to collect data on key trends in employment, salaries, career shifts, layoffs and AI adoption.

InGame Job and Values Value have launched the ninth edition of the Big Games Industry Employment Survey, a large-scale study designed to gather insights from professionals across the global games ecosystem on key trends in employment, salaries, career shifts, layoffs and AI adoption (to the survey). The results will be unveiled exclusively at devcom 2025 in Cologne this August, after which the full free report will be available on the InGame Job platform.

This year the survey tackles pressing questions like: - How have mass layoffs affected confidence in the future? - How do game developers make career decisions in today's shifting landscape? - How have economic turbulence and industry changes impacted salaries and attitudes toward employers?

The survey is anonymous and should take five to ten minutes to complete. "The more responses we gather, the clearer the industry-wide picture we can paint! Join thousands of professionals in shaping the future of game development," said InGame Job and Values Value. This year's survey is supported by Hypercell Games, HyperVR Games, Tribe, Joyteractive, Tapclap, with Scorewarrior as the exclusive sponsor.
