Microsoft has announced that the Xbox app is now available on Arm-based Windows 11 PCs. Players can download and play a wide range of titles from the Xbox PC app catalogue on these devices. "Today, more than 85% of the Game Pass catalog is compatible with these PCs, and we’re actively working with partners to expand support even further. For titles not yet supported running locally, Xbox Cloud Gaming remains an easy way to jump in while we work with partners to broaden compatibility," Microsoft states.

The January Xbox Update also includes the Game Save Sync Indicator for PC and handheld devices, enabling players to more easily track their gaming status across multiple devices. "This player-first feature gives you real-time visibility into your cloud save status, so you'll always know when your gameplay progress is synced. Whether you’re wrapping up on your PC or powering down your handheld, you can hit the road with confidence," Xbox wrote.

Xbox has teamed up with V (formerly VIDAA) to announce that the Xbox app will be available on select Hisense and V homeOS-powered smart TVs in 2026. The "Xbox Play Anywhere" and "Stream Your Own Game" programmes each include over 1,000 games. New "Xbox Play Anywhere" titles were also announced, including Octopath Traveler 0, Dome Keeper, Marvel Cosmic Invasion and Oddsparks. The latest additions to "Stream Your Own Game" include Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, Guilty Gear -Strive-, Little Nightmares III, Mio: Memories in Orbit and Resident Evil Village.
