Durch die technischen Vorteile der Xbox werden die Zocker an den Microsoft-Maschinen eine erweiterte Version von "King Of Fighters: Maximum Impact" spielen können. Sie dürfen nicht nur über Xbox Live weltweit gegen ihre Freunde antreten, sondern können auch mit Hilfe der eingebauten Xbox-Festplatte Screenshots speichern und Videos kompletter Versus-Duelle aufzeichnen.

So können Beat'em'Up-Profis ihre auf Festplatte gebannten Kombochoreografien genießen und endlich auch damit angeben.

Das Prügelspiel soll ab Juni 2005 in den Regalen der Händler stehen.
