Erazer Hosts Europe's Largest Third-Party Fortnite Championship

Following last year's Rocket League tournament, Erazer is focusing on Fortnite this year, launching a European Fortnite Championship with a prize pool of €100,000. The final will take place at Xperion in Hamburg.
In recent years, Erazer's Your Road to Victory (YR2V) initiative has focused on supporting young esports talent. This year, both emerging talents and the best Fortnite players will compete in Europe's largest third-party Fortnite championship. Following last year's inaugural international championship, the GSA region, France, Belgium and the Netherlands are now joined by Luxembourg, Italy, Spain, Scandinavia, Turkey and the UK. The championship begins online and culminates in an offline grand final, which will be held live at Xperion Hamburg with a prize pool of €100,000.
Each participating market has already held three open online qualifiers, which were open to all Fortnite players in the region. Around 15,000 gamers competed for one of the 100 places in the regional finals. They are now battling it out there for a place in the big offline final, where 60 talented players will secure a place in the showdown in Hamburg. Those who don't make it through the regional finals will have one last chance during European Last Chance Week, comprising three further open online qualifiers open to players across Europe. The top 100 players will then qualify for the European final. The best 30 players will then advance to the offline final. Additionally, one Fortnite pro will be invited per region.
The regional finals will take place from 22 to 29 September. The last tickets for the final will then be awarded during Last Chance Week, which runs from 3 to 10 October. The grand offline final will take place in Hamburg on 25 October. Live streams will be available on Twitch from the regional finals onwards.
As part of YR2V, selected content creators from across Europe will represent their regions. They will produce content for the event and broadcast the regional qualifiers and offline finals live on their Twitch channels. Amar Al Naimi (Amar) will be hosting for the GSA region. "I've wanted an international LAN tournament to bring the Fortnite community together for a long time. So I'm all the more excited to be part of it now." Streamer Piz will cover the Italian region. Coachboop will present the programme in the Benelux region and Loeya will host the event in Scandinavia. TheGrefg will also stream for the Spanish community. Jolavanille will represent France, while Motor will host the broadcast for Turkey. Reisshub and Leven2k will host the broadcast for the United Kingdom.
Erazer is supported by Epic Games (including the integration of the exclusive Erazer map), TikTok as the official livestream partner, and Adidas with clothing specially designed for the finalists. Erazer is the gaming division of Medion.
