Christmas is just around the corner, and we are also taking a break for the holidays. Of course, we will continue to monitor the market and report on any news of particular significance between Christmas and New Year. The full GamesMarkt service, including our daily newsletter, will resume on 7 January 2026.

For us, the next few days are also an opportunity to pause and reflect on a year that has brought massive changes for us.

The management buyout in the summer marked the end of a long period of uncertainty. Above all, however, it was the beginning of a new chapter that we, Marcel, Pascal, and Stephan, have opened. We are now proud to call ourselves “indie publishers”.

We have lots of ideas and plans. In 2026, we will continue to drive forward the internationalization of GamesMarkt and give the gaming industry from GSA, but also from the EU more visibility worldwide. In 2026, our first projects beyond GamesMarkt will also become visible. And, of course, our door als service provider remains open to anyone who needs editorial support, whether it's for a single text or the creation of entire magazines and websites.

But for now, we are looking forward to a few quiet days with our families. And it is precisely this peace and quiet, this break to recharge our batteries for an outstanding 2026, that we wish for you, our readers and business partners. Without you, none of what we do would make sense. Thank you for your support and companionship.

We wish you a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year from the bottom of our hearts!

Marcel, Pascal, and Stephan
